This was the first of many hunts i have been able to participate in with the company Racksite. I joined Team Racksite after what seemed like a long four months of discussions and decision whether I would be a good fit for the team. I met Cody Draper at the airport during my spring break from college in Orlando, Florida where we headed straight to Okeechobee, Florida to hunt hogs and gator. It was definitely one of the most exciting hunts I'd ever been on. I shot this hog right at dark with absolutely no room for error. I ran around for over an hour to locate a hog and then made a free range 200 yard shot. It was the most exhilarating moment in my life at the time. Finding this trophy in the woods 50 yards from where I shot felt like the most accomplished moment in my life. He weighed almost 300 pounds and was ranked one of the larger hogs harvested that year with Okeechobee, Outfitters. Subscribe to keep updated with the video of the kill shot in my next post and adventures to come.
