First Deer

For my first blog post I figured it would only be fair to start at the very beginning or I should actually say the very first animal I harvested that started a fire for hunting and conservation for me. This deer was the last day of the second shotgun season in Iowa. I decided even though I missed a 12pt beauty from the night before that I would still choose to finally "pull the trigger". Years and years have passed and Ive never harvested a deer. but this one came out at about 150 yds and that began the start of my passionate hunting adventure.
